Introducing the new mother-daughter duo

Hi, my name is Sandi.I was born in Vietnam and migrated to Canada with my family and lived in Winnipeg, Manitoba until I was 12 years old. We then moved to Ontario and I lived there until the end of 2024.
My career as a hairstylist started in the late 90’s when my daughter Raven was just 18 months old. Judging from this timeline, I’m sure you could deduce that I’ve been doing hair for a long time. And in that time my skills have aged like fine wine.
I believe it is important to not only make hair look and feel good but to also build meaningful relationships with my clients along the way.
While I was still very pregnant with my second child I decided to open and operate my own salon and had a very successful 17 years. Having gained respectable experience and a loyal clientele running Sandi Hair Professionals, I decided in 2024 to answer a greater professional challenge.
I will always miss and appreciate all of my clients in Ontario but my journey is now in Alberta and I look forward to building relationships and creating beautiful hair here.
In my free time I enjoy taking up projects around the house. I find it rewarding to put creative thought into building practical solutions to help better my loved ones’ lives.

Hi, my name is Raven.
Despite the name and my mother’s prayers, I was born a brunette. I was raised in Toronto, Ontario before spending most of my life in Oakville. I am excited to spend the rest of my days in Alberta with my family and new friends.I have been in the beauty industry for 10 years starting with my experience as a lash technician in 2015 followed by my journey as a hairstylist in 2020. Driven by a passion for learning, I aspire to master hair, following in my mother’s footsteps.
I believe that my education is not limited to my personal growth but also in my ability to teach clients how to reproduce a style at home so that they can look and feel great in between appointments.
I am happiest when I am cutting hair because I love the intention behind cutting your dead ends to inspire growth. I have always loved the beauty industry and what it allows me to do creatively. I am both honoured and humbled being able to leave my mark on it.
When I’m not behind the chair I enjoy spending time with family, cooking, reading and playing games.
